The Muskoka Maple Festival Returns April 30, 2022

‘Tis the season for the smooth sweetness of a Canadian Classic delicacy affectionately known as liquid gold. Yes, it’s that time of year when maple syrup is flowing true and it takes centre stage on our palette, in our hearts, and in our tummies. After two long years of being on the sidelines, the Muskoka Maple Festival is back to provide plenty of opportunities for maple syrup aficionados to taste a variety of flavours, as well as inspired dishes and beverages.

Taking place on Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout Main Street in Downtown Huntsville, the family-friendly festival features plenty of tasting options, live entertainment, maple syrup producers and much more.

Maple inspired dishes include the Rotary Club of Huntsville Evening Satellite Club Pancake Breakfast, Charred Pork Back Ribs with Muskoka Maple Molasses BBQ sauce from festival sponsor 3 Guys and a Stove, bacon and pulled pork (separately) grilled cheese, maple syrup pulled pork sliders, maple syrup infused butternut squash soup, mini donuts, stuffed cookies, strudel, a variety of maple infused baked goods, vegan ice cream and truffles, and a whole lot more.

Wash it down with maple beer from Canvas Brewing Co., a Wheelie Good Coffee, or a Muskoka Mudita from Mushroom Tea Co.

Local Maple Syrup producers including Sugarbush Hill Maple Farm, Hubbert’s Maple, and Barmont Maple Syrup will be vendors at the festival, so those in attendance can bring some maple goodness home with them.
