The official start of summer is still more than a week away, but in Huntsville and Lake of Bays summer starts now. Why you might ask? Because patios and outdoor dining spaces are officially allowed to be open! Restaurants and bars throughout the region are beginning to reopen outdoors, once again offering dining under the sun or stars, surrounded by classic Muskoka scenery paired with delicious food. Grab your housemates or members of your new social circle and head to your favourite local hangout or treat that special someone in your life to a long-awaited night out. Wherever you go, sit back, relax and enjoy the view!  

This list features Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce member businesses and is not inclusive of all restaurants and patios in our region. As our shared economy begins to reopen, the Chamber is working collaboratively with community partners on a recovery plan to help our members and the region as a whole. Chamber members are the backbone of our local economy and it is vitally important in our current situation to support them as best we can, to ensure that as we gradually begin to reopen our community these crucial businesses will be able to return strong and healthy.

    • Patio is open now. Reservations are recommended.

    • Sweeping lake vistas are the ideal accompaniments to generous breakfasts and great dinner experiences with family and friends. Eclipse Terrace offers stunning views on a beautiful wrap around terrace overlooking the bay, golf course and rolling resort landscape.
  • Huntsville Brewhouse
    • One table for six is now open on the patio. Reservations are required. Curbside pickup is also available.
  • Kelsey’s Original Roadhouse
    • Kelsey’s patio is open for dine in services now. Takeout is also available.
  • Maple Pub & Patio
    • Enjoy fresh and casual pub-inspired fare and cold beverages after a day on the course, the water, relaxing or doing outdoor adventures. During summer months find your spot on the patio for one of the best views in Muskoka!
  • The Mill on Main

  • Muskoka on the Rocks
    • Muskoka on the Rocks patio is open now. Also offering takeout. Please call ahead to place your order and pick up at the front door.

  • Tall Trees Muskoka
    • Tall Trees patio is open for dine in services now. Curbside pickup will also be available.
  • Westside Fish and Chips
    • Westside Fish and Chips has turned their parking lot into a patio, and is open now. There will be no table service, however you will be assigned a table when you arrive and your food will be delivered to you at your table. It is strongly suggested that you call dinner orders in early as time slots fill up quickly. If you have not called ahead, one person from your party must come into the restaurant and place your order.

Patio season is back! Take this opportunity to enjoy some delicious food, cooked by talented regional chefs, with no dishes to wash afterward. Treat yourself and your social circle to a midday outdoor meal or a perfect night on the town. Wherever you go, remember to thank the dedicated staff who have worked so hard to get ready for the return of a classic Muskoka summer tradition.
