River Mill Skating Rink

Huntsville has added a delightful new attraction to the winter mix: a skating rink at River Mill Park, your gateway to a whimsical winter wonderland!

Launching Thursday, January 17, 2024, the rink will be open daily — including for night skating (weather permitting). Picture yourself gliding under twinkling lights in the embrace of the crisp evening air.

But wait, there’s more! River Mill Park will become a lively hub every Saturday afternoon with the SnowFest Entertainment Series – on- and off-ice buskers, kids’-themed DJs, marshmallow roasting, and sometimes even hot chocolate, too! And watch for SnowFest on Saturday, February 24 — a full day of family-friendly activities — along with the rise of Snow Village surrounding the rink for as long as winter remains.

Visit the Huntsville SnowFest Facebook or Instagram or Contact in advance to confirm the status of the skating rink.
