The Inaugural Muskoka Market: Huntsville Summer Edition is Coming to Downtown Huntsville!

After the wildly successful Muskoka Market: Huntsville Holiday Edition this past winter, the Huntsville BIA is excited to expand the event and bring the 1st annual Muskoka Market: Huntsville Summer Edition to downtown Huntsville on Saturday July 30 from 10am – 7pm! There will be vendors, entertainment and activities on Main Street all day long to create a one-day street festival with something for everyone!

Downtown Huntsville is already home to some of the town’s most unique shops, studios, cafes and restaurants where you can browse and find a perfect treasure, or grab a bite to eat surrounded by the sights and sounds of summer. Now, for one day only you’ll have even more options to enjoy. The vendor market includes a wide range of businesses coming to Huntsville. See what you can expect below!

If you’re feeling hungry, we’ve got you! The Fishbowl will be downtown offering up their delicious Caribbean cuisine, the Saucy Muskokan will have their sauces packed with veggies available, there will be ice cream from Sweet Creatures Vegan Ice Cream, crepes from The Crepe Sisters, and donuts SugarNuts Mini Donuts, Dwn Craft Chocolatier with their chocolatey goodness, and Sugarbush Hill Maple Farm offering up all their delicious maple treats just to name a few!

If you’re looking for some unique shopping options you’ll want to check out various woodworking options from Rustic by Nature, Catajjen Boxes & Boards and Living Edge Design Co., soap and skincare products by Botanic Arts, toys from Travelling Toys, jewelry from Jewls by Becca Jane, candles by Bearfoot Candles, clothing by Coco Bear Fundraiser and much more!

Wondering what you can expect for entertainment and children’s activities? Look no further! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be downtown and ready to pictures, The Liam Kearney Show will be at the Festival with family friendly live music, JJ Dance Performing Arts Studio and the Muskoka Dance Academy will take their performances to the street, Billy & the Kidd will be performing live, Barry “Bazza” Hayward will be back downtown with his always popular drum circle, while Bonnie Boyd will be hosting story time with Ben the Goose.

After the street festival, starting at 7pm in River Mill Park, get ready for a live concert from Reggaddiction and drinks from Canvas Brewing Co.! It’s the perfect show to bridge together the street festival and what comes next… 

On the Town Docks, starting at 9:30pm, there will be a free screening of the movie classic “The Pirates of the Caribbean” at the Town Docks at 9:30pm. The film will be shown under the open skies on a two-sided screen set atop floating docks provided by Pipefusion. If you’ve got your sea legs, you can come to the movies by boat and drop anchor. If you’re a landlubber, bring a chair, a cushion or a picnic blanket and sit on the shore.
