What do you think of when you hear it’s May 24 long weekend in Muskoka? Beer, music, food, hanging out on the water?
Lucky for you, May 24, is actually May 18 this year, and Huntsville offers the perfect spot to enjoy the early long weekend.
This Saturday May 18th, the Muskoka 2/4 Craft Beer Festival is once again taking over River Mill Park in Downtown Huntsville, and has everything you need to celebrate the unofficial kick off to cottage season.
This is basically a music festival smashed together with a craft beer festival and is a full day of fun. Stop in to see 18 different Ontario craft brewers including local favourites Muskoka Brewery, Lake of Bays Brewing Company, Canvas Brewing Co., and Sawdust City Brewing Company. Altogether, the brewers are bringing 50 of the most flavourful craft beers you can imagine. Not only that, but there are also two stages offering up live music all day. Hunters Bay Radio has gathered together a lineup of 10 incredible local bands for you to enjoy while trying out all those delicious flavours of craft beer. All this and we haven’t even mentioned the mouth-watering line up of food! There are a ton of choices being offered throughout the Festival – including Montreal Smoked Meat from Main St Local Kitchen, Mini Jackfruit Sammies, Jackfruit Tacos and Walk n’ Taco Brisket from The Frying Dutchman, Pulled Pork and Belly Bites from Algonquin Cafe & Deli, Somosa Sliders, Pakora Masala Papad and Chicken Tikka Poutine from Marigold Unique Flavors, Pork Back Ribs from Tall Trees and Crepes courtesy Frenchies Crepe Cafe!
