New this Year – The Macaroni Festival joins up with the first annual Muskoka Busker Festival!
This incredible event will be taking place in downtown Huntsville, on Saturday September 14th from 10am-6pm. Busker Festivals are fun for all ages, so bring the whole family! Enjoy fantastic vendors fully stocked with tasty treats, and spectacular stunts put on by some of the world’s most incredible and unique Buskers. This year’s line-up comes from all over – some as far away as the UK! – so be sure to stop in and check them out!
The Buskers:
Seb Whipits
Sebastian “Seb” Whipits is a suggestive German Whip performer with a relaxed presence and a charming personality. Growing up in the small town of Kleinstadt gave Seb ample time to perfect his art as the only whip juggler in the world.
Mighty Mike
Step Right Up! Witness Mighty Mike throwing around bowling balls and sledgehammers as if light as a feather… while wearing a 1920s style bathing suit. You’ll be amazed as he bends horseshoes, juggles bowling balls, and tears packs of cards, but try not to laugh at his dance routines. Mike began training feats of strength under Grandmaster Strongman Dennis Rogers (in a line of strongman performers from Joseph “Mighty Atom” Greenstein in 1928). Not only will your audience be laughing the entire show, they will also be motivated and inspired by the lessons of the old time strongmen.
The Starlight Vigilante
This up-and-comer has been working as an aerialist for the past 5 years in North America. Diving headfirst (quite literally) this summer in to the busking world, Erikka is a high flying aerialist whose passion is high-altitude, high-speed drops in the aerial silks!
Kobbler Jay
This professional entertainer just reached a decade of experience. Using his seasoned arsenal of tricks and fresh wit, Kobbler Jay has captivated, delighted, and charmed audiences in over a dozen countries. The classic “Kobbler Jay” show is thoroughly entertaining for all ages. Children are spellbound by his stunts, teenagers get a kick out of his saucy wit, and adults can appreciate his humour. His comedy can be described as “off the wall” yet appropriate to the audience.
The Mystery Entertainer
Lukas Stark, The Mystery Entertainer has trained his body and mind to perform incredible feats of magic, mentalism, and circus skill. Like a modern day Sherlock Holmes he’ll get inside of your head, display his super human memory, turn an audience member into a psychic detective, and last but not least reveal the child hood dreams of one lucky subject all while juggling fire and walking through broken glass.
Can he read minds? no.
Is it all psychology? No.
Is he psychic? Heck, NO!
Then how does he do it? It’s a mystery…
The show features whip cracking, whip juggling and an unbelievable duel fire whip finale.
