Sharing their love for the culinary/hospitality industry, Reto & Becki met while working in the Canadian Rockies in none other than picturesque Lake Louise, Alberta, where they worked at the Post Hotel & Spa, and The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. They also spent a number of years, up until most recently, in beautiful British Columbia working in Vancouver, Whistler, and Haida Gwaii (known for their famous salmon fishing resort).
Not only has Becki and Reto experienced extensive travelling around the world, together, they also bring national and international culinary/hospitality experience to the “table”.
Before coming to Canada, swiss-born Reto, worked in Switzerland, and Germany, as well as on cruise ships. He then took his culinary experience to new heights in Western Canada, where through his combined experience and passion became an Executive Chef. Reto is excited to bring his “Mediterranean meets West Coast” culinary skills, 17 years experience, to his kitchen at The Artisan House.
Having enjoyed and excelled at all front of the house positions, Becki is excited to bring 17 years of quality hospitality experience to The Artisan House. She’s extremely passionate about customer service and has been able to embrace this side of the business with both warmth and grace. Born in Huntsville, Becki has always hoped to one day return home and share her passion with her family and friends.
