The Port Sydney Community Centre Park is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a place to let the kids burn off some excess energy. Located in front of the Port Sydney Community Hall on a large, flat grassy area, this playground  includes many features sure to keep everyone busy. It’s home to both a  basketball and beach volleyball court. The large, modern playground structure, which is surrounded by wood chips, features some not-so-common elements-my five year old daughter’s favourite is the circular monkey bars. It also includes slides and many different climbing elements. The swing set has both baby and “big kid” swings. There are four picnic tables (one with accessible seating) as well as several Muskoka chairs and benches. Located along Port Sydney’s Main St, the Port Sydney Community Centre Park playground area is secured by fencing to create a safe barrier from the nearby road. There are beautiful views of Mary Lake as well as the quaint neighbouring homes.
