North Mary Lake Beach is located at the very end of North Mary Lake Road, providing you with a scenic drive along a charming Muskoka road as you travel there. You’ll wind your way past hobby farms, old barns, open fields and then through forested sections before making your descent as you arrive at the beach. Once there, you’re treated to sensational views of the north end of Mary Lake.
Beyond and to the left lies the mouth of the Muskoka River which connects this lake to several Huntsville lakes via the Brunel Lift Locks. To the right there is a rocky tree covered extension of undeveloped land providing a beautiful natural backdrop just past the nearby cottages. The beach itself spans about 100 feet and offers a small shore. Once in the water, there is a good stretch of shallow water for swimming and playing in the sand.
During non-peak hours (early morning and evening) the North Mary Lake Beach is also used as a public boat launch. Parking is located along the side of the road.
