About
The Ice Skating Trail at Arrowhead Provincial Park in Huntsville, Muskoka, has become one of the province’s most captivating winter attractions. This 1.3km trail winds through a snow-covered forest, offering visitors a truly magical experience. On select Friday and Saturday evenings, the park hosts “Fire & Ice” nights, where hundreds of tiki torches illuminate the trail, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere. For the best skating conditions and a more serene experience, visitors are advised to plan their trip midweek. It’s recommended to reserve in advance online to guarantee entry, especially for popular Fire & Ice events. Skate rentals are available on-site, and while helmets are recommended, they’re not mandatory. Visitors should note that dogs are not permitted on the skating trail, but baby strollers with rubber wheels are allowed at the parent’s discretion. For up-to-date trail conditions, be sure to check Arrowhead Park’s Twitter feed before your visit.
