Dwight Winter Carnival

There is no other activity more synonymous with winter fun than the traditional winter carnival. February is the month for winter carnivals throughout the communities of Huntsville and Lake of Bays, and with activities for kids young and old, the Dwight Winter Carnival is a highlight of the season for the whole family.
The Dwight Winter Carnival returns for its 51st year on February 24 & 25, 2023!
The fun kicks off with Kids Kapers taking place at the Dwight Community Centre from 5:30-7pm.
The main event kicks off on February 25 once again at the Dwight Community Centre with a full schedule of events planned throughout the day:
- Dwight Lion’s Club Pancake Breakfast: 8:30 – 10:15am (by donation)
- Speaking of Wildlife – Wildlife Exhibits: 8:30am – 4pm
- Carnival Games: 9am – 4pm
- Archers of Muskoka – Archery: 10am – 4pm
- Muskoka Goat Away – Visits with Goats: 10am – 4pm
- Erika’s Bakery – Doughnut Decorating: 11am – 3pm
- Kiwanis BBQ Lunch, Coffee & Hot Chocolate: 11:30am -2:30pm
- Speaking of Wildlife – Wildlife Shows: 10am & 1pm
- Horse Drawn Wagon Rides: 11am – 3pm
- Erika’s Bakery – Tea Making: 1 – 2pm
