About

Blue Spruce Resort is an outstanding fully equipped Cottage Resort and Motel, perfectly at home in its ideal setting of pristine lakes and diversified forests. Located near the West Gate of Algonquin Park, it is one of the largest fully-equipped housekeeping resorts in Muskoka.

Lakeview cottages with wood burning fireplaces offer leisurely comfort and restful ambience. You will find an abundance of activities to enjoy in and around the lodge, although it’s perfectly all right to do nothing at all.

Our own cross country skiing and hiking trails offer well-groomed and signed incursions into Blue Spruce forests where small animals abound. Or take to the lake and paddle a canoe or kayak to Ragged Falls – a wonderful half-day adventure.

Some of our favourite winter activities include ice-fishing, skating on our floodlit rink, and cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Snowmobile from your door on well maintained OFSC trails. Alpine skiing and snow boarding are available 15 minutes away at Hidden Valley Ski Hill. After a day outside in the crisp invigorating air, return to your cottage and relax in your warm, soothing whirlpool tub.

Warm weather brings endless adventure. Take a tour of Oxtongue Lake in one of our fishing boats, go swimming, kayaking or canoeing, or captain our pontoon boat.

We are a great family or couple’s vacation getaway. We have so much to offer, and will happily provide you with information, suggestions and advice on making your visit a memorable one. Come stay with us, we would love to have you join us.
